What is ISO?

The International Standardization Organization (ISO) based in Geneva, a federation of national bodies drawn from some 100 countries.

SABS is our national standardization body. The mission of ISO is to promote the development of standardization in the world with the view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and to develop cooperation in the spheres on the intellectual, scientific , technology and economic activities.

What does the SABS ISO 9001:2000 mean to us and
our customers?

To be certified by the SABS as an ISO 9001:2000 company we have had to implement management systems and procedures which comply with the set international standards.
